The Truth Is, Sometimes Quitting Is Winning

“Winners never quit, quitters never win’’ is one of the most common motivational statements of our time. This statement has inspired many people to achieve great things in life because they refused to quit, kept going, and defeated obstacles.

But the part many don’t get to hear is this – it has also destroyed many people because they kept on trying and holding on to situations, things, and relationships that they should have let go.

The truth is, there is a time to hold on, and there is a time to let go.

Do all that is within your power, all that is realistic and legal to make it work. Get all the information you need. Give the best you can within the resources available to you, and don’t be quick to take no for an answer.

But, if you have given it your all and it is still not working, then maybe you should take a step back.

Don’t put your life or physical, mental, emotional, financial well-being at risk by staying and holding on unnecessarily to pursuits.

If this doesn’t work, others will work, so, don’t think your life or your dream is over because you let go of something that is no longer working or no longer serving the purpose. And don’t waste more time trying to fix what you have no power to make work!

The most important thing is to know that you are not a loser for walking away and there is no winning in sticking with something when you need to let it go.
